Rousínov, the City Multifunctional Centre behind the Square

Diploma thesis suggests a new functional use of former vocational boarding school near town center of Rousínov and deals with its reconstruction and modification to serve the new purpose. Current conditions of communication routes and public welfare are being analyzed in order to select proper urban model, that would be applied. Two buildings of former dormitories are to be replaced by leisure time activity center and multifunctional house with commercial space and retirement house respectively. The purpose of former canteen will be left as it this, although it is meant to be enhanced by adding cafeteria with roof garden. In the given context, an architectural design was elaborated while using former structures and layout but with new inner structure. Vertical wooden structures with dynamically spaced elements are used as a common feature. Apart from design of the buildings themselves a special care was also taken while creating the environment. Parks are laid out in a polygon grid, shaped by the straight lines of communication routes.
Motor competencies of preschool children

Name: Motor skills of preschool children Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the difference of motor skills of preschool children among children regularly attending free time courses focused on physical activities, led by experienced lecturers, and children in different kindergartens who do not attend these courses or rarely attend them. Methods: 67 children aged 4-6 years participated in the research. These were 9 children from the municipal kindergarten, 30 children from the village kindergarten and 28 children from the sports agency (club). Children were evaluated once by using the following tests: beep test, 4x5 m run, long jump, ball throw with right and left hand, sit and reach test. Results: The results confirm the assumption that children who participate in physical activity in their free time as well as in the kindergarten have better results than children who do physical education only in kindergarten. At the municipal nursery school, the children at the best level managed only the right- and left-hand throw. Statistically significant differences between groups occurred in the 4 x 5 m run, long jump and beep test, most often in favor of the sports agency. Availability of physical activities for children with disabilities in their leisure time in Prachatice area.

This thesis deals with current availability of physical activity for children with disability age 8-15 in Prachatice region in their leisure time. It is divided into two main parts. The theoretical section is focused on specific terms regarding mental, visual and hearing disability. Practical part is concentrating on main research. The questionnaires were introduced to school masters, sport instructors, children with disability as well as intact children and disability children's parents. The research focused on availability of leisure time physical activity, which is quite extensive for children with hearing and mental disability compare to ones offered to children with visual disability. Through the survey was discovered that 35% of the instructors are without professional sport education, 65% instructors are trainer license holders or physiotherapist. Research also studied possibility of integration children with disability.
